Moped driver charged after Northern Avenue accident

*********************** Yesterday morning around 10 a.m. City Police attended at Great Northern Road and Northern Avenue for a report of an accident with possible injuries.

It is alleged that 21-year-old Joshua McMullin, of 400 Boundary Road, pulled out of a civic address in the 300 block of Northern Avenue on his moped and struck a car that was traveling south bound on Great Northern Road. The driver of the car, 64-year-old Orlando Caputo, of 110 Walnut Street did not receive any injuries, and Mr. McMullin did not require treatment for his injuries at the time of the accident.

Mr. McMullin has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario with one count of fail to yield.
