With Christmas weeks away, Moonlight Magic is on the horizon.

The annual event is planned for Nov. 17 with the annual tree-lighting ceremony and numerous downtown businesses participating.

The tree-lighting ceremony, which will happen at 7 p.m., will be preceded by a performance from Mustang Sally.

Many businesses will be offering deals as part of the event and hot chocolate will be available at some locations.

Fire barrels will be along Queen Street for warmth as well as the chance to make s'mores outside the Old Stone House.

The March Street Stage will feature Bon Soo trivia for a chance to win a Bon Soo button pass.

Between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site will feature storytime and pictures with Santa. The West End Theatre's production of Elf the Musical will also be performing scenes from the show at the Discovery Centre Theatre.

A craft station will be hosted by the Sault Museum while people will also have a chance to vote on the best decorated businesses during the festivities throughout downtown.

Stuff-a-Bus donations will also be accepted outside the courthouse.

Further details on the event can be found here.
