Ontario's support to British Columbia’s forest fire fighting efforts continues in its eighth week with 299 Ministry of Natural Resources personnel in B.C.
As part of the ongoing exchange of staff, an Incident Management Team is expected to return to the Regional Fire Management Centre in Sudbury on Tuesday, September 8 and another group of personnel returns to Ontario on Wednesday, September 9.
Always remember to be FireSmart.
If you're planning a campfire, remember to pick a designated campfire pit if available or choose a safe site on bare rock or soil, keep the fire small, never leave it unattended and make sure it is completely extinguished before leaving the site.
