************************* Male charged with impaired driving

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - (December 15) - On December 13 at approximately 3 a.m. City Police officers arrested a male and charged him with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume alcohol over the legal limit.

The accused was operating a 2002 Chevy when he was stopped during a RIDE checkpoint.

Officers found the accused to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested him.

He was transported to the station and will be appearing in court on January 19.

Charged is Mitchell Steven Owen Wilson, 22, of 78 Hardwood.
