************************* Talks in Burlington continue.
Local 2251 negotiations committee remains fully committed to negotiating a fair and reasonable contract for its members.
To date this has not happened.
The company has yet to table a proposal that is fair or reasonable and not concessionary.
Yesterday we noticed a message prominently displayed on a bus.
The message said: "Prepare to share."
To the owners and management team of Algoma collectively we say: "Prepare to share."
It is our turn, our time our place.
Information meetings shall take place at the Steelback Centre on Saturday, July 28 at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The board of stewards is scheduled for 7:30 a.m.
