Christmas Open House

The Downtown Business Association and the Downtown Development Authority will be hosting the Annual Parade of Lights on Friday night, November 26 at 7.

The parade will start lining up at 6 p.m. at Parker’s Hardware and will go north on Ashmun to Maple, then turn and finish in front of the city/county building for the Lighting of the City Christmas Tree.

The local Salvation Army will be providing warm cider and hot chocolate at the tree lighting.

On Friday, November 26 and Saturday, November 27 from 11 - 5 both days, the Downtown Business Association will be hosting their annual Christmas Open House.

The Christmas Open House is Downtown Sault Ste. Marie’s way to kick off the Christmas shopping season.

Join participating businesses for hot and cold refreshments.

Stop in each of the participating businesses, denoted by a special red poster, and register to win one of two gift baskets filled with gift certificates and items from the local merchants, plus each business will be giving away a spiral sliced ham to a lucky registrant.
