************************* Twenty-two-year-old Michael Hodgson of 27 Nebenaigoching Street in the Rankin Reserve was arrested on the 7th of July at 4:40 p.m. on Tancred Street and charged with one count of assault and one count of threatening death or bodily harm.

It is alleged that yesterday around 2:30 p.m., the accused attended at an East End residence, assaulted a male known to him and then threatened to kill him.

The accused fled prior to police arrival but was located a short while later on Tancred Street.

He is to appear in bail court this morning.

************************* Twnety-one-year-old Justin McKay of #1-226 Cathcart Street was arrested on John Street at 2:55 a.m. today on outstanding warrants and charged with one count of break, enter and commit, one count of aggravated assault, one count of threaten death or bodily harm, one count of possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public and two counts of breach of probation.

************************* Break and enter reports

- A residence on Birch Street was entered around 5:18 a.m. yesterday. It is not known what was taken.

- A residence in the 400 block of First Avenue was entered around 9:27 p.m. last night. Jewelery was reported taken.

************************* Thefts

- Vehicles were entered overnight on Hugill Street and Alexandra Street.

- A sign was reported stolen from outside the Norgoma on Foster Drive.

- A bicycle was stolen from the YMCA property.

************************* Mischief report

Graffitti was left on a CSO tank on Shore Drive at Bellevue Park.
