Merry Christmas from Ross Romano

'As I reflect on the previous year, I am moved by all of the incredible events I have been a part of and the people I have met'
2018-12-21 Ross Romano Christmas

SooToday received the following holiday message from Sault MPP Ross Romano:

The Christmas season is a time of year for us all to celebrate. It is a time for us to be together with our family, friends, and neighbours and it is a time for giving. In the spirit of giving, we consider those who are less fortunate, and we give so they may have cause to join in the celebration. It is in this celebration that we look forward, with hope, to the year that lies ahead.

As I reflect on the previous year, I am moved by all of the incredible events I have been a part of and the people I have met. I have witnessed the kindness, care, and compassion that embodies our community, as well as our resilient Northern Ontario spirit.

No matter what challenges or opportunities were before us this year, we embraced it head on and united. I remain convinced that we can overcome any obstacle when we all work together to make our city the best it can be. There is no doubt in my mind that we have reason to celebrate what 2019 will bring.

On behalf of my family and I, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope that everyone has a joyous holiday season filled with love and kindness and that you are all as excited as I am for a new year of prosperity for everyone in our community; and please remember while you celebrate this coming season to make sure to celebrate in a safe and responsible way.

All the best,
Ross Romano
