A swearing-in ceremony was held on Dec. 5, 2006, to welcome five new members to the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

The following five persons were sworn in as Recruit Constables in a ceremony presided over by Judge James Greco, a retired member of the Ontario Court of Justice who has rejoined the Law Society of Upper Canada and is a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Board, at the Civic Centre: Constable Connie Donato, Constable John Duke, Constable Greg Possamai, Constable Troy Miller and Constable Ben Williams.

These new Recruit Constables attended the September intake at the Ontario Police College in Aylmer, Ontario and graduated on Nov. 30, 2006.
