McDougall Energy sets up office in St. Catharines

McDougall Energy Inc. (McDougall Energy) will now be operating out of the St. Catharines area with the acquisition of Superior Petro Fuels (a division of Superior Plus LP) along with their home heating oil, commercial fuel and lubricant business.

With this acquisition McDougall Energy will expand its local presence in the region offering customers residential home heat, commercial fuel, and lubricants. This deal brings with it a fully operational hub in St. Catharines complimented by McDougall Energy’s nearby St. George location.

Additionally, McDougall Energy is excited to be welcoming their St. Catharines team who will be continuing on as the area’s local contacts. This acquisition further expands McDougall Energy’s reach into Southern Ontario where they currently serve the Greater Toronto Area and its many surrounding regions.

McDougall Energy is a third generation family-owned business that has recently seen acquisitions in the Owen Sound and Brantford regions. As an official EssoTM Branded Reseller they have been providing fuel and lubricant to their customer base across Ontario for over 70 years.

This acquisition comes with the recent announcement of the company receiving the Canada’s Best Managed Platinum Member designation in March.
