Matthrew Sloss charged with 140 km/h impaired

At 4:05 a.m. on Saturday, a northbound 1994 Chevrolet Camaro passed a northbound Sault Ste. Marie Police Service cruiser on Great Northern Road at what police considered a high rate of speed.

Police followed the vehicle, clocking it at 140 kilometres an hour until it stopped at the Root River Trailer Park.

The driver, 21-year-old Matthew James Sloss of 16 Root River Trailer Park, was charged with impaired driving.

Sloss made a video court appearance today.
