************************* Real bad driving draws attention to drunk driving
GOULAIS RIVER, ON - A Sault Ste. Marie woman has been charged with drunk driving after her driving caught the attention of other motorists.
Last night at about 11 p.m. OPP officers from the Sault Ste. Marie detachment were advised of a northbound vehicle having trouble keeping lane position and a wide range in speeds.
Officers located the vehicle on Highway 17 in Goulais River.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver showed obvious signs that she had been drinking.
As a result of this investigation, 50-year-old Marilyn McKinney of 243 Brown Street in Sault Ste. Marie was arrested.
She is charged with impaired driving and driving while over the legal limit of .08.
Her drivers' licence has been suspended for the next ninety days.
She has been asked to appear in Sault Ste. Marie court on October 15.
