Man turns himself in for assaulting six year old

On January 7, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. a 50 year old male turned himself in at the Police Station.

Detectives arrested and charged the male with Assault with a Weapon, Sexual Exploitation and Threatening Death or Bodily Harm.

The allegations involved the male striking the victim, who was six years old at the time, with a belt, touching the victim in a sexual manner and threatening to harm the victim if anyone found out.

These incidents are alleged to have occurred in 2005 and involved a victim known to him.

The male will appear in court on February 10.
