************************* Death threats result in arrest
A 28-year-old Sault Ste. Marie resident is in custody after making a phone call at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, in which he [allegedly] threatened to burn down the home which his ex and their five-year-old child lived in.
The suspect surrendered to police without incident later in the evening.
The man who is charged with two counts of uttering threats contrary to section 264(1)(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.
He will be held in custody pending a bail hearing on Wednesday.
