************************* Robbery investigation

On May 7 at approximately 2:19 and 2:25 a.m. respectively, patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Korah Road with regards to two robberies that occurred minutes apart from each other.

It is alleged in both cases the victims were approached by two females and a male.

The male was armed with what appeared to be a handgun and also with a baseball bat and the females with knives.

It is alleged the suspects approached two males who had just exited a hotel located on Korah Road and demanded cigarettes from them.

It is further alleged the male suspect showed the victim the firearm.

A scuffle developed between one victim and the male suspect, at which time one of the males who had left the hotel and was accosted by the accused person suffered a stab wound to his back.

The suspects then ran off and then accosted a female and male who were walking near Wallace and Farwell Terrace demanding money from them.

The suspects then ran off as they heard responding patrol cars from the first robbery.

The location was given to police by witnesses.

The investigation carried on through the day yesterday and as a result, three persons were arrested and will appear in bail court this morning.

Charged with two counts of robbery and one count of aggravated assault is 21-year-old Arranda Tierra Forbes of 308 Korah Road and 18-year-old Steffen Marc Maxwell of 125 Panoramic Drive.

A 16-year-old female has also been charged with the same offences.

The victim was treated and released from hospital.
