Man goes missing near North Bay

RESTOULE, ON - (May 13) - Powassan OPP is currently searching for a missing person from Hagersville, Ontario.

On Friday, June 13, 2008, Powassan OPP was notified of a missing man last seen in Restoule, Ontario.

Paul Abbey, 48 years old, of Hagersville, Ontario was believed to have been last seen at the General Store in Restoule, Ontario on Friday, May 30, 2008.

He is described as being 5' 11”, 165-180 pounds, short thin brown hair, blue eyes with left eye having a brown mark in it; walks with a bit of a hunch and his skin is described as yellow tinged.

Abbey was attending a hunt camp in the area and has no access to a vehicle.

Members of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and S.A.V.E. unit are conducting a ground search in the vicinity of the hunt camp.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance for any information that will help the police in locating Paul Abbey.
