************************* Man arrested for assault

Yesterday afternoon, City Police arrested Kim Mancuso, age 35, of 196 James Street Apartment 5 and charged him with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of threatening death.

It is alleged that on Monday June 30 at approximately 12:30 a.m., the accused got into an argument with a male known to him.

During the argument, the accused pulled out a small knife and used it to strike the victim on the head.

The accused is also alleged to have threatened to kill the victim.

The incident occurred in the downtown area.

The victim suffered a two-inch laceration to his head but refused medical attention.

The accused will be appearing in court on August 11 at 9 a.m.
