Man finds wife dead in Lake Nipissing

********************* Lake Nipissing death

( North Bay, Lake Nipissing ) - At 5:30 p.m. on the July 13 North Bay OPP were advised of a possible drowning at Campbell's Bay, Lake Nipissing.

OPP marine units assisted by the OPP SAVE Team responded to Campbell's Bay.

Officers located 61-year-old Bonnie Jean Devolin of Wasi Road Callander.

Devolin was deceased and presumed drowned.

Devolin had been swimming earlier in the day and was discovered unresponsive in the water by her husband.

North Bay Coroner Dr. Bodely attended the scene.

A post mortem examination will be conducted this afternoon in Sudbury. The drowning is still under investigation.

Cst. Adrienne White, Powassan OPP is the investigating officer.
