************************* Yesterday at approximately 9:38 p.m., police arrested a 32-year-old male and charged him with sexual assault with a weapon, as well as threatening death.
It is alleged that the accused earlier on April 29, 2009, sexually assaulted his former spouse under threat of a knife and continually threatened her with death.
He will appear in bail court this morning.
************************* - A home was entered in the 1300 block of Wellington Street East. It is reported that electronics and liquor were the items targeted by the culprits.
- A shed was entered in the 200 block of St. James Street sometime yesterday. A number of power tools were said to have been taken.

************************* Today at approximately 1:50 a.m., police were called to a residence in the 200 block of First Avenue with regards to a domestic dispute.
An argument between the male and female residents escalated into a physical confrontation in which both parties received injuries.
The female attempted to leave but the door was locked by the male who prevented her from leaving.
As a result of this, a 46-year-old male will appear in bail court charged with assault, forcible confinement and three counts of breaching his probation order.
