Mall security chases Elliott down Queen St

CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE ************************* Twenty-seven-year-old Elliott Southwind of #8-16 Terry Fox Place was arrested on the 16th of January at 6:55 p.m. on Queen Street East and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.

************************* Twenty-seven-year-old Elliott Southwind of #8-16 Terry Fox Place was arrested on the 16th of January at 6:55 p.m. on Queen Street East and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.

It is alleged that on the 16th of January around 6:45 p.m., the accused attended at Sears at the Station Mall and stole some clothing and ran from the security guard who attempted to apprehend him.

Security was able to catch up to him on Queen Street East near Dennis Street and held him for police.

He is to appear in court on the 23rd of February.
