Mabel Bain charged with impaired

OPP NEWS RELEASE

************************* CHAPLEAU, ON - On May 28, 2010, at 11:52 Superior East OPP at Chapleau had occasion to observe a green Plymouth Voyageur being operated in an erratic manner on Pine Street by a female driver.

Police checked the driver and as a result found her to show obvious signs of impairment.

She was arrested and escorted to Chapleau OPP office for breath tests.

Mabel Bain, age 47 of Chapleau, Ontario stands charged with the following criminal code offences:

- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle

- Exceed 80 milligrams of blood/alcohol

- Breach of probation order.

She will appear in Chapleau criminal court at a later date to answer to the charges.
