Over the weekend, Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services responded to multiple open air burning complaints.
They led to eight 90-day suspensions.
Fire Services reminds the public that, due to the current dry conditions, all open air burning is temporarily suspended.
Anyone found burning during this time is subject to an automatic 90-day suspension and/or charges under the Fire Protection and Prevention Act.
