Woman arrested for calling the police

Breaching release order

Yesterday morning, members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 36-year-old female on two counts of breaching conditions of her undertaking release order.

It is alleged that on Tuesday June 14, the accused contacted the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service property office to make inquiries.

It is further alleged the accused was seen accessing an e-mail account.

At the time of these two events the accused was on an undertaking release order to not access any e-mail accounts and to not call the City Police unless it is an emergency.

Lori Silvano, age 36, of 601 Cooper Street is charged with two counts of breach of an undertaking.
