Loretta shops at Raw. Store staff survives with minor injuries

************************* Yesterday afternoon at approximately 12:20 p.m., City Police attended at the Raw Clothing Store in the Station Mall regarding a female shoplifter.

It is alleged that the accused, Loretta Carey, age 28, of 1674 Wellington Street East, Apartment 6, stole approximately $98 worth of lady’s clothing [not exactly as illustrated].

It is further alleged that at the time of her arrest, the accused assaulted the two store employees who were attempting to arrest her.

The employees suffered minor injuries and did not require medical attention.

The accused is charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and two counts of assault.
