Ward 1 Is now the only ward in Sault Ste. Marie with no City Council candidates.

Incumbent Ward 4 Coun. Marchy Bruni threw his hat into the ring Monday, seeking re-election in the Oct. 24 municipal election.

Deadline to file nomination papers is Friday, Aug. 19 at 2 p.m.
