ELLIOT LAKE, ON (December 7, 2010) - The City of Elliot Lake and The Concert Factory are pleased to announce that Canadian singer-songwriters Colin James and Terri Clark [shown] will headline the Jewel in the Wilderness Annual Outdoor Concert, July 2, 2011.

This Heritage Days event will celebrate the history of Elliot Lake with community wide activities, including a Canada Day Parade, Lions Club Jamboree, Canada Day Concert with Jukebox at Westview Park, Stars of Pop Concert for Youth, BBQ’s, Fireworks, and more!

The outdoor concert, held in the lower plaza, will be the main stage event. Colin James, who plays blues, rock, and neo-swing music, is not only a singer-songwriter but also a guitarist, and record producer.

He has been nominated for countless music industry awards including 14 Juno Awards.

Songs that have helped in his career are “Voodoo Thing,” “Why’d You Lie?,” “Five Long Years” and “Just Came Back.”.

Her latest album, The Long Way Home, is a product of Terri Clark coming to realize what matters to her; it is country injected with force, rock, soul, strength, clarity, blues, passion and conviction.
