**************************** Tug Race featured in Lake Superior Magazine

The June/July 2010 issue of Lake Superior Magazine that mails today (May 12) features one of the Sault's popular events - The Great Tugboat Race.

The story was done by local Tom Pink with photos by John Shibley.

Also, readers will find references to West Pier Drive-In and Clyde's Drive-In as part of a Favorite Local Burger Joints story in the special restaurant and lodging guide (more suggestions for best burgers are invited in the issue, too).

Readers will also find images and information about the eight tall ships passing through the Soo Locks in July on their way to Duluth for the Tall Ships Duluth 2010 event July 28-August 3.

The latest dispatch from Mike Link and Kate Crowley, the husband-and-wife team who recently embarked on an 1,800-mile walk around Lake Superior to raise awareness of water conservation issues.

Mike and Kate plan to be in the Sault on June 26.
