Take a gander at the night sky on Wednesday, October 20 in a northeastern direction, and you may catch a glimpse of something cool.
Comet Hartley 2 will pass Earth by a relatively close 11 million miles that night.
This will mark the first time Hartley 2 will be visible with the naked eye since its discovery in 1986.
According to NASA, the comet will be best viewed in rural locations just before dawn after the moon has set.
