As part of Queen Elizabeth ll's Diamond Jubilee, a group of  ladies got together for tea and to also celebrate a bridal shower.

Dressed in their favorite dresses and fancy hats, they sat down to rolled sandwiches and special desserts.

Guests had to test their knowledge on the Queen and her family as part of a quiz for a prize.

Questions included: What is Queen Elizabeth's favorite breed of dog? How long was Princess Dianna's train on her wedding gown?

The tea was actually planned for Sarah Harten's bridal shower who as a small girl enjoyed tea parties with her Nana and Papa.

Her request was for a special tea party with rolled sandwiches, salads and desserts which were made by family and friends.

The date of the tea party was set a while ago and it was realized as the date drew closer that it was the same date as the Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

This gave everyone an opportunity to mark both special occasion.
