************************* Criminal harassment

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 29-year-old Martin Ferland of 2-428 Second Line West on an outstanding warrant at 10:15 p.m. yesterday at the City Police station and charged him with one count of criminal harassment and one count of breach of a release document.

It is alleged that on the 17th of November, the accused criminally harassed a male known to him by continuously calling him and making threats to kill him, his family and damage their property.

At the time of the incident the accused was on an undertaking release order with conditions not to communicate with the victim.

The accused is to appear in court on the 17th of January.

************************* Outstanding warrant

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 32-year-old Jeffery Budge of 335 Alexandra Street at 4:22 p.m. yesterday and charged him with one count of failing to appear in court.

It is alleged that on the 18th of October the accused failed to attend court.

He is to appear in court on the 17th of January.

************************* Domestic-related arrest

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 60-year-old male at 2:55 a.m. this morning at a centrally located residence and charged with on count of breach of probation.

It is alleged that he attended at the residence of a female that he was on conditions not to due to a past domestic-related assault incident.

************************* Mischief reports - A vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 700 block of Queen Street East was keyed.

- A fire cracker was left in a mailbox in the 600 block of Old Garden River Road. No damage was reported.
