Local elementary school hosting fundraiser walk in honour of late teacher

Students, staff and school community are invited to Ben R. McMullin on June 14 to honour teacher Jennifer Kelly, who died of cancer earlier this year

Students, staff and the broader school community are invited to a memorial walk and fundraiser at Ben R. McMullin PS later this week.

This event, which takes place June 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is in honour of teacher Jennifer Kelly, who passed away this winter after a long battle with cancer.

Walk for Madame will take place around the school's Terry Fox loop. Classes will be walking through the day to support this event.

Those attending are encouraged to wear purple and come prepared for the weather.
