Local couple wins Cash for Life! Jordana picks lucky ticket!

Jordana Sacco picked the ticket that won a Cash For Life big prize this week.

Sacco works at the Airways General Store and was working Monday evening when a couple who referred to themselves as the Potvins came into the store to buy some snacks.

Mr. Potvin asked Jordana to choose a Cash For Life instant-win ticket for the couple.

They left with the ticket she recommended for them.

It was the top one in the stack, closest to the front that she offered them..

They decided to trust Jordanna's instincts.

Within the hour, the couple returned to the store.

"I think we may have a big winner here," said the man.

Sacco checked the ticket for them and confirmed the Potvins were holding a major prize-winning ticket.

They are now in Toronto to visit the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Prize Centre and redeem their prize from OLG Cash For Life.

Sacco is in school today, enjoying the glow of knowing she helped make a local couple very, very happy.
