No, this story has nothing to do with the ongoing standoff between Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the parliamentary press gallery.

But we wanted you to know that more than 175 people showed up at last night's Sault Ste. Marie reunion and hospice fundraiser at the National Press Club in Ottawa.

Guido Caputo brought a bus full of Club Calabrese members to the big event, and this picture shows him all wrapped up in a Sault Ste. Marie City flag with with long-time friend Lisa Shore (nee Tatasciore) from Ottawa.

The fundraiser for the Algoma Residential Community Hospice capital campaign was hosted by Sault MP Tony Martin.

It drew a sizable crowd of Saultbies now living in the National Capital Region as well as folk he made the drive from Sault Ste. Marie.

Special guests last night included former members of parliament Cyril Symes and Dr. Maurice Foster.
