One person is dead following a collision between two snow machines Saturday night in Houghton County.
The crash took place at the Range Snowmobile Club, according to TV6 News in Negaunee.
Amanda Briggs, 26, of Lake Linden was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased was driving one of the snowmobiles.
The other driver, a 26-year-old Houghton man, was taken to hospital for the treatment for his injuries.
The Houghton Country Sheriff's Department is continuing its investigation.
