There was a big fashion show and pasta dinner over the weekend to raise money for the future MCpl. Scott Vernelli Playground at Queen Elizabeth Public School.
And fundraisers there have have just learned they've been named one of 10 finalists from across North America in the running for as much as $5,000 in new playground equipment from KaBoom!, an organzation dedicated to creating great playspaces through participation and leadership of communities.
If we get first place, we'll get $5,000 toward a new Sault playground.
Second place gets $3,000.
Third place scores $1,000.
