Leta Hansen charged with unlawful spitting

NEWS RELEASE

************************* Leta Hansen, age 48, of 125 Gore Street will appear in bail court today.

It is alleged that yesterday afternoon the accused was found on Gore Street in an intoxicated condition.

The accused is on a recognizance release order prohibiting her from consuming alcohol.

When the police went to arrest Ms. Hansen she resisted the officers and assaulted the officers by spitting at them.

She is charged with one count of breach of recognizance, one count of assault police and one count of resist arrest.

************************ Kelly Labelle, age 45, of 75 James Street, Apt. 3 will appear in bail court today.

It is alleged that last night the accused was in an intoxicated condition on Queen Street West.

The accused is on a recognizance release order and a probation order prohibiting her from having or consuming alcohol.

She is charged with one count of breach of probation and one count of breach of recognizance.
