************************** Male charged for failing to provide breath sample

Sixty-four-year-old Lester Mihelic of 603 Douglas Street had entered Canada Customs after crossing the International Bridge on the 25th of January 2010 at 9:55 p.m.

It is alleged that a customs officer believed the accused to be under the influence of alcohol and subsequently demanded a sample of his breath at which point Mr. Mihelic refused.

Police attended and charged the accused with failing to provide a breath sample.

Mr. Mihelic was released with a court date of March 1.
