Leslie Lesage smacks streetlight, charged with impaired

************************* Twenty-two-year-old Leslie Lesage of 14 Dream Catcher Road in Garden River Ontario was arrested on the 14th of September at 3:48 a.m. and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over legal limit.

It is alleged that on the 14th of September at approximately 3:30 a.m. the accused was operating a 1997 Ford Ranger eastbound on Truck Road when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed two lanes of oncoming traffic, jumped the traffic island at the intersection of Trunk Road and Black Road and hit a light pole.

The accused attempted to reverse and struck the curb.

When officers attended at the scene they found that the accused was under the influence of alcohol.

There were no injuries reported and the vehicle received severe damage.

The accused is to appear in court on the 22nd of October.
