Free computer and Internet classes

The Community Access Program at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library is offering free workshops to the public in basic computer and Internet skills.

Workshops, including Introduction to Computers, Introduction to the Internet, and Introduction to Email, are one hour in length.

There are time slots available in the morning, afternoon, and evening, as well as on weekends.

They take place at all three branches and run until March 27.

These classes are ideal for participants who have little to no experience using computers or the web.

In Introduction to Computers, participants will learn basic computer usage, including turning the machine on and off, using the mouse, and fundamental word processing.

Introduction to the Internet allows participants to familiarize themselves with the Internet, access websites, and search for information online, all in a no-stress atmosphere.

Finally, Introduction to Email walks participants through the creation and use of their own, free email account.

Space is limited, so sign up soon!
