************************* Yesterday afternoon a 26-year-old female was arrested by store security at Rome’s Independent Grocers for theft under $5,000.

City Police attended and the accused was turned over to the officers.

It is alleged that at approximately 3:40 p.m., the accused attempted to steal approximately $130 worth of meat and electronic products from the store.

Store security apprehended the accused when she left the store.

Further investigation of the accused revealed that she was wanted on two warrants - one for failing to appear for court and the other for transportation fraud.

Lynn Kwissiwa, age 26, of 696 Pine Street, Apartment 1A is charged with one count of theft under $5,000, one count of failing to appear for court and one count of transportation fraud.
