Korah Collegiate statement about Kathryn Harvey

************************* Algoma District School Board issues the following statement:

Korah Collegiate & Vocational School family and friends are dealing with the loss of a recent graduate.

Kathryn Harvey was killed Saturday, November 25, 2006 in a train mishap in Austria where she was a Rotary Exchange student.

Kathryn was an IB student, a leader at Korah, who was involved in all aspects of school life.

Whether it be Envirothon, musical theatre, concert band, mock trial, Duke of Edinburgh Program (Silver Award winner), students' council, science fair or grad committee, Kathryn would be giving her all.

It is this enthusiasm and positive attitude that will be remembered.

She enriched our lives.

Our thoughts are with her immediate family: her mother, Jannick, a teacher at Korah; her father, Stephen; and her sister, Shelagh; as well as with all her extended family, relatives and many friends.
