To help bring a bit of extra cheer this holiday season, c is hosting its first-ever Secret Santa event.

The local Lego business is now accepting nominations for deserving area children to win a Lego Minifigure of themselves. Five winners will be chosen to receive these unique personalized Lego figures.

"With the challenges of online learning, social distancing from both friends and loved ones, and even changes to major holidays, kids have had to be as resilient as all of us in these unprecedented times – a hard ask of such young minds," a news release issued by The Brickspace states.

Nominations for the Brickspace Secret Santa competition can be submitted online until Dec. 14. Winners will be announced following next day.

“As a parent myself, I know how much of a difference even the smallest things can make in a kid’s life, so I just want to spread some smiles to the people of Sault Ste. Marie," says Brickspace owner/operator Derek Pearce in the release. "If there’s one thing I know, it’s that you can have fun building at any age.”
