************************* Forty-eight-year-old Kimberley Mohamed of 1 River Road in Heyden, Ontario was arrested on the 18th of December at 6:56 p.m. on Black Road at McNabb Street and charged with one count of consume over the legal limit and one count of left turn - fail to afford reasonable opportunity to avoid collision.
It is alleged that at 6:46 p.m., the accused was operating a motor vehicle southbound on Black Road and when approaching the intersection of McNabb Street, she made a left hand turn in front of a northbound vehicle [allegedly] causing a collision.
When officers arrived to investigate the collision, they found the accused to be under the influence of alcohol and when she was given a roadside breathalyzer test she registered a fail.
No injuries were reported in the accident.
The accused is to appear in court on the 26th of January, 2009.
