Remember last November, when Edmonton granny Olga Friesen made national headlines when she spent a day in jail for refused to pay a fine for not properly shovelling her walk?

Well the snow's back in Edmonton and former Saultite Kerry Diotte has been writing in the Edmonton Sun about how City officials there seem to have a double standard, failing to clear the white stuff from their own sidewalks while they're busy ticketing everyone else.

Of course, being from the Sault, Kerry knows that it really is possible for a City to clear its own sidewalks and to do a darn good job of it.

In a column today, he says Edmonton should do the same thing.
