Justice locates theft suspect

Friday afternoon at approximately 3:00 p.m. patrol officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service assisted by police K-9 Justice located and apprehended one male in relation to a theft that occurred in the area of the Station Mall.

It is alleged that the accused, 19 year old Dylan King of 774 Wellington Street East stole a bag containing a quantity of cash from a male victim while inside the station mall. 

The accused then ran from the scene and Cst. Turco with his K-9 partner Justice were called in to assist. 

After a short track the accused was located at a residence in the 100 block of Birch. 

He was arrested and all of the money was recovered and returned to the victim. 

Mr. King was charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 and will be appearing in court on May 13 of this year.
