INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE ADMINISTRATION

****************************** The International Bridge Administration today announced that one-way traffic crossings of the International Bridge at Sault Ste. Marie totaled 193,634 for the month of July 2011.

This represents an increase of 5.0% as compared to July 2010.

Traffic for calendar year 2011 has totaled 1,128,238 vehicles; this represents an increase of 11.2% as compared to 2010.

Since the bridge opened in 1962, over 91 million vehicles have crossed the structure.
