****************************** ROBERTSON (NEE CLAYDON), Judith Anne - 1928-2010. On Saturday, November 13, 2010, Judith passed away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Sault Area Hospital.

Judith leaves behind her beloved husband of sixty years, Robert (Bob) Robertson.

She was a loving and caring mother to Rob and Lesa Robertson, Heather Robertson and Jack Selody, and Phyllis Robertson.

She adored her grandchildren Michael and Jes Robertson, Jonathan Robertson, Karen Selody, Emily Barber and Robby Barber, and her great-granddaughter, Avery Robertson.

She is survived by her dear sister Patricia Mary Watson.

The Watson family members have wonderful memories of the many ways Judith touched their lives over the years.

Judith will also be remembered with great affection by her many friends and the many members of the Robertson Clan.

Judith was born in Winnipeg and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in home economics.

She and Bob lived in several Canadian cities before they made their home in Sault Ste. Marie.

Judith had the gift of seeing beauty in the world around her.

She transformed the Northern Ontario landscape she loved so much into beautiful watercolours and stained glass art.

She loved to entertain her friends with her culinary artistry.

Judith emanated an inner beauty in her caring and giving personality.

For many years she presided over the Art Gallery of Algoma and the Algoma Arts Festival Association.

She made lasting friendships in the Canadian artistic community and her work was recognized through several awards, including the International Year of the Volunteer Medal.

Judith made a special effort to help those who were less fortunate and devoted her time and donations to food banks and women’s shelters.

Should friends wish, donations may be made in Judith’s memory to the Sault Women in Crisis Centre.

Flowers are gratefully declined.

In accordance with Judith’s wishes, there will be a private memorial service.

Our family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Sault Area Hospital for their compassion and kindness toward Judith.

“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 759-2522.

Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com.
