John stopped on John St, charged with impaired

**************************** Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 27-year-old John Kalomiris of #2-167 Henrietta Avenue on the 30th of September at 1:35 a.m. on Elm Street and charged him with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit.

It is alleged that on the 30th of September around 1:17 a.m. officers received a call regarding an impaired driver that had just left a local bar and was driving in an erratic manner on Great Northern Road.

Officers checked the vehicle at the intersection of Elm Street and John and found the driver to be under the influence of alcohol and he was subsequently arrested.

He is to appear in court on the 7th of November.
