Man charged with impaired driving

************************* [Charges Withdrawn] was arrested at 1:23 a.m. today on Second Line West and charged with one count of impaired driving, one count of consume over the legal limit and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance.

It is alleged that on the 20th of June the accused was observed by City Police operating his vehicle at a very high rate of speed on Second Line West in the area of Goulais Avenue.

The driver, the accused, was stopped and checked and at the time officers discovered that he was under the influence of alcohol.

He was also found in possession of a small amount of cocaine.

He is to appear in court on the 21st of July
