NEWS RELEASE

************************** Thirty-year-old Jean-Paul Gauvin of #3-148 Pim Street was arrested on the 12th of November at 1 a.m. on St. Mary’s River Drive and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consuming over the legal limit.

It is alleged that on the 12th of November at around 12:42 a.m., the accused was driving a 2002 Honda on Carmen’s Way near Queen Street West when he failed to negotiate a turn and struck a landscaping fence [not exactly as illustrated] near the International Bridge.

The accused was observed walking away from the scene and was quickly located by police a short distance away.

At the time officers found him to be under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.

He is to appear in court on the 14th of December.
